Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge
Located near the village of Ballintoy and linking the mainland to the island of Carrick, this rope bridge was traditionally erected by salmon fishermen. It bridges a 30 metre drop, and the gap is about 20 metres wide. It was redesigned in 2004 and is now a fairly sturdy structure, but please beware of children as they do still like to rock it a bit.
