Mussenden Temple

Built as a library in 1785 as part of the estate of Frederick Augustus Hervey.
Mussenden Temple is a small circular building, modelled on the Temple of Vesta in Italy. It stands very close to edge of the cliffs near Castlerock. Enjoy views out over the Atlantic Ocean, and of Donegal, Downhill Strand and Magilligan Point to the east and Portrush, Portstewart and Fairhead out to the west.
